About Our Operation

 

  • Our animals are raised without using artificial hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides.
     
  • Calves are raised by their mothers so they have milk for at least 6 months.  The cow-calf pairs are on pasture for the whole growing season, which means a healthier and more natural life.
  • When steers are fattened we use only organic grain so there are no GMO's (genetically modified organisms), no pesticides, no herbicides, and only natural fertilizers.  We try to keep grain feeding to a minimum for both animal and human health.  Most conventional beef cattle are obese when they go to market and only 12 to 14 months old.  That's not good for you or the animal.  Our organic beef are about 16 to 18 months old so they mature into their weight.  The beef tastes better and the animals are healthier, not as fatty, and better for you.
  • Our family takes great pride in taking care of the environment and our cattle.  We believe if you try our beef, you will be glad that you did and will be proud that you chose organic food and what it stands for.
